A private initiative led by the practice to explore the potential for creating new work and meeting space for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), independents and creative industries in Muswell Hill, North London.
Given the scarcity of developable area around an already well-defined commercial centre, the study focuses on maximising the potential of left-over space through imaginative urban renewal.
Presentations were made to local councillors and the local authority and the initiative has gained support from local stakeholders including trader and resident associations, community and creative groups, private residents and businesses.
